Subject: question about price....

Dear Retro Ad Art,

My name is Matt McGehee and I am a graphic design student. I'm currently
working on a 50's diner restaurant design for school and I was wondering
if you offered any kind of "student discount." While I'm sure your
high-resolution images are well worth the $179, I can't really afford
that price. Please let me know if there is anything you can do. Thank
you for being one of the webs only High-Res retro ad resources, keep up
the good work.

Thanks
Matt McGehee

thanks for the info. I've taken a basic photoshop course at the local college but it was very basic. I'm trying to design some artwork to use on T-shirts for my business for our 35th anniversary. Do you have any clip art of early 70's Chevrolets? Thanks for your help your cd has the best retro art I've found.

Subject: Hi!

Hi!

I am interested in purchasing your collection of retro images for printing on t-shirts. Initially, I would like to print the images for my own use but if the images look great, I would like the opportunity to print some shirts and sell them to my friends.

Before I purchase the images, I have a couple of questions regarding their use:

1. Could you provide me with more details regarding royalty payments. In this instance, what is the percentage of sales fee and/or the one-time buyout fee?

2. Where would the © Images courtesy of retroadart.com need to appear on the shirt?

Thankyou in advance for your help. I look forward to ordering your images, I think they're awesome!!

Hi Guys,

Great website which I found a lead to from retro ad art .  I’m just wondering if you could help?

I have a colleague in the Greetings card world who is looking for royalty free imagery from old ad’s and or knitting patterns, to use with her humorous captions.  The nearest type of imagery I could compare it to is the Noble Works brand of cards (which I believe are from the US).  Could any of you guys point us in the right direction of finding this type of retro photography or artwork?

Best regards,
Teresa

Hello,
I saw your site and love your Custom Retro Comic Strips.
Can you please let me know how much one of the strips costs?
I have a client that this would be great for, they would write the
copy and I would give you creative direction - also do you supply the
AI file to us?
What is your license agreement (we may need to use these on a website).

Thanks. Ruth.

Subject: question re:royalties

Hi

I love your samples on your website - my question is (and I have read the royalty page), the product that I would like to use your art in is jewelry...so as you can probably imagine there would not be sufficient space on the piece to place your "name/logo" - would it be acceptable to have your name/logo on a tag? and what would the loyalties be? how is that calculated?

thanks
Paulette

Hello again,

My disc + catalogue finally arived. Cool stuff!
I made a complaint to FedEx Spain but I don't think they were very impressed
with that.
It's just the way things go here in Spain - we call it the mañana syndrom...

Thanks so much for taking the time to respond. I actually have Xara 3d maker and Xara, so I'm sure it will work great!

I can't wait for my disc to come. I have a cookie business with a retro theme firstclasscookies.com and I am going to totally redo the site with the graphics. If I run into any problems I may even use your design services.

Thanks again,

Wayne

Hi Tony,

Quick question. I am playing with the fonts you sent---great stuff. I was wondering if you could share how you got the effects for the shelbourne font, especially that slant and side fill I have been playing in photoshop but can't duplicate it.

Thanks for any info
